good find....
His yacht burned down too? This doesn't surprise me. He did speak in a pretty stupid fashion. If he hates porsche owners so much, why did he buy one and join the forum? Jeeeeeze......now this is the definition of troll.

Sounds great but it needs the HP to haul those two guys around. LOL! Probably 500lbs+ there........
So to be offensive is your only defense? You do not even own a real car....and your mommy or daddy wont let you put glass of water on THEIR car. I don't blame them! At least OP has strong knowledge and has own cars!
Kindly list the cars with the capability that you mention that are not modified.
Regarding the "be all and end all" comment, we are acutely aware that newer models and new models will have more dynamic capabilities than existing models. What is noteworthy about the 991 is the magnitude of the various improvements over the 997 versions. No doubt that the next body style of the 911 will offer yet more improvement in dynamic capabilities, as well as others aspects of the car.
The point of the OP's post is that the existing capabilities of the TT/TTS are enough for most of us and I agree. If anyone needs to be convinced, just ride with a pro and or factory driver around a road circuit in any 991 and then decide if you really need to modify the car or if you just need to learn how to drive the one that you have better.

How many "cheaper" cars can do this out of showroom floor?

OP is gone, so again you are quick pretending to be wise guy and to throw stone? Moderator should ban you off 991tt forum.... you say things you know nothing about and become offensive when ask to stop it....or for proof!
At least OP has strong knowledge and has own cars!
Say things I know nothing about? Well if the info in that news article is wrong, then yea, I guess I am then saying things I know nothing about.
Anyways......probably a good point by now for the mod to close down this thread. It's no longer productive.
This is the point and I too agree 100%. Not saying others to don't put am parts on but the tts really does not need anything. Amazing car if driven for what it is made to do!

Well.........
Shelby gt350 R
Corvette stingray
corvette zo6
corvette zr1
boss 302 LS
viper
viper ACR
amg GT-S
c63 black series
GTR
z28
I think an r8 v10 is still cheaper
Now if you mean go around a track fast, AND be able to use every day in a practical fashion season round. Then......there is no substitute

I think the turbo S has enough power. But I like how the tune makes the power more linear and feel more like a supercharged car, than a turbocharged car. The mid range and low end is where it needs improvement. But software does that easy enough. 0-60 in under 3 is plenty fast for anyone on the street. Hey what do I know, I mean I've never owned a car apparently.

You are accusing me of being offensive? When all you do is say I don't own a car? Jeeeeze once again, I'm shocked by your logic. I'm at least glad you switched to mommy and daddy rather than mamma and dadda. Your vocab graduated from pre school to elementary school at least.

OMG wow look your head has swollen up so big you even giving instructings to mods now and you don't even own a 991tt or 991tts..... so why even post here?????
I see how each time spotlight has comes to you on other threads, you squeal out for mods and order for close of thread too!
By this, do you mean go around a track fast?

I say "momma and dadda" because you are really boy pretending to be big knowledge man here. For certain you know nothing, your posts confirm this, and, I am not only member to see it! Look you don't even own a 991tts and you post here and give misinformation about am parts for this car as if you are the last word! What are you trying to prove!

Look what are you talking about?? you don't even own 991tt so how would you even know if it has enough power???? Please stop your unreliable advises!!!!!!!!!!!

Again your logic amazes me. The 991 has like what, 15 hp more than a 997.2 TTS?
I think most would agree, the exhaust, maybe tune, sway bars, and a DSC is what the majority of where people stop for mods on this car. I mean there are only countless threads confirming this. Maybe you should use the search tool. Though if you have PDCC, you don't need sways.
Keep making a fool of urself with your
logic and reasoning skills
. It seems clear at this point you are arguing for the sake of arguing. No point dealing with that kind of ignorance and arrogance.

The thing I never understood about this guy is how could you possibly say that the 911 turbo "has too much power" or "more power then anyone could ever use".....but then you go and build a 680 whp twin-charged 1700lb road car?? Where's the logic?
