Fresh from the tint shop to Boostlogic! Dropped my car off this week at Boostlogic in Austin TX to get full exhaust and custom tune on Monday. These guys kill it on performance in the GT-R world and I'm sure they will do the same on my Porsche. I'll fill you guys in with pics and dyno results over the next few weeks.

Do they have a dyno that can do AWD? I have been looking for one in Austin and still haven't found it. Their website shows they only have a package for the 997.2 and they use their own exhaust and Cobb Accessport.

 

Yes they have AWD dyno. They are huge in the GT-R community. They will have 991 TT exhaust once they are done with mine.

 

OK, I don't live very far from there. I will call them and get a dyno on my car if they can do it. Then we will see if I have lost all the gains, despite my Vbox data.

 

They are using my 991 TT for their test car. Their dyno will be back up and running next week so I'll have my baseline dyno then. I'm interested to see true gains from an ecu tune and full exhaust.

 

Are they doing custom tune or piggyback?!

 

Custom tune until Cobb has a hand held programmer for the car.

 

Can you ask them if they are using their own access/software or some variant of the giac tuning? I talked to COBB at sema and again last month they say they are not currently working on our platform and may not have solution for some time.

Got my baseline dyno done today. I'm looking forward to seeing the gains from the full exhaust and tune.

They said exhaust will take a few weeks to fabricate. I'll post pics of exhaust once I get some.
