Sorry it took me so long to post this sound clip, but here it is. Anyone in the long island area wants to hear it in person let me know and we can meet up.

As you can see in video revs were mostly between 4-5k rpms. One or two went a little lower or higher, but 4500 was my aiming point.

Honestly speaking. That is the best sounding exhaust I have heard online. I can only imagine it is better in person. Man what a sound. Good for you. Enjoy.

Here is another clip of a cold startup. Wait until 33 seconds to hear the difference when I put it in sport mode. Its amazing the change over.

Wow. I have no clue why Europipe's own video of their exhaust sounds like complete sh**.

But I have to agree with what was said. This is the best exhaust I have heard on a porsche turbo.
I'd really love to hear some drive by footage. What the hell did porsche change in this car to make it sound so much better than the 997 TTS?

BTW, you have mastered the art of getting in and out of this car. Don't think I ever seen anyone get out of a porsche so quick and easy.

It takes alot to change someones mind on an exhaust. Glad my clip changed your mind.

My favorite thing about the EP is that its stock quiet around town, db sound wise. Although at low engine speed there is so much more character. When you step on it hard. It comes alive and in my opinion nothing compares.

If you are looking for a LOUD exhaust, this is not for you! This exhaust is much more quiet in car.

Im sure vendors and non EP users will jump in here, for a loud exhaust.

Only advice is that you should listen to all other exhausts before selecting what to put on your car. I ran around to multiple dealerships and local shops to hear different exhausts. When I heard EP, I decided on the spot it was my favorite.

 

Yea, this is up there I'd put it. I'd like to hear what bbi has in person for the 991. So far their only video is on instagram of a quick 10 sec drive by.

I still haven't heard what kline has for the 991 either. But right now just in the general world of exhausts this is the closest I have heard a turbo come to sounding good and be N/A sounding. So whatever porsche changed between the 997 and the 991 really improved the sound of this car, which then allows the AM to make it even better.

For whatever reason the 997 is just extremely hard to make sound good, so I don't blame any of these people for not being able to get it quite right. I wonder also if porsche changed the firing order on the 991. I believe they changed the intake manifold and use smaller turbo's from a thread Tom from champion had about turbo's for these cars.

 

Best online recording of EP so far, no doubt still much better in real life with more character than the recording able to show, loves mine as well.

Play Audio through stereo system or a decent speaker! At the right volume, 33 seconds in you can actually hear the mechanics of the turbo spooling.

 

Good vid. Still doesn't do it full justice. I don't want to sound like a fanboy - but I love the difference the exhaust made. I cannot however say that the EP sounds better or worse than other exhausts because I have never heard another 991 exhaust in person. I just know that the EP checked all the right boxes for me - deep, throaty growl on the outside, but still quiet enough on the inside to talk to your rear seat passengers or take a conference call.

 

Sound great! How is it looking from under? Drive by sound clip at 7000 rpms would be nicer to hear. Can you do it?

Sorry, yes "under car". Hmm sound interesting. Any pics at all? It has to look right for me. Does it look "am" on car? Also how about drive by at max rpm in say 3rd gear. Possible to do?

 

doing google search I found these video and wonder which is the one you say is ****? Can you link it?? I do agree the car is going a bit slow and not enough rpms to bring up full sound.
