Why would anyone drive without PDCC on at all times?

 

Because it's not required unless you're driving aggressively, and it stiffens up the ride. If you're puttering around or cruising down the road at interstate speeds, why would you need it. That's my opinion anyway...since you asked.

PDCC is active all the time. The button is just changing the stiffness of the chassis. PDCC does not turn off and on.

 

The ride is more cushy with PDCC off, noticeably stiffer with it on. But I have PDCC on 95% of the time. One of those features that stays on even after you turn the car off and come back and restart.

 

Living with horrid potholed NYC roads I keep the PDCC button off most of the time. If tracking. Roll racing or on twisty roads the button gets pushed
