Well if it pulled timing on the track and if it pulled timing on the Mustang dyno then I would have expected it to pull timing on the Dynojet dyno as well.

4th gear is 1.18 and 5th gear is 0.96 so why didn't you test in 5th gear?

I have tested 911 turbos on my dyno in 5th gear and let's just say it was EXTREMELY fast in terms of MPH on the rollers.

5th gear starts to get too fast for the rollers. The mph is WAY too high.

What Scott experienced on the Mustang dyno was not necessarily the result of timing pull. The 991 Turbo requires "dyno mode" to be activated in order to accurately test on a Mustang dyno. That mode completely disables the PSM and yaw control sensors. Because of the slight difference in height of the front and rear rollers on a Mustang, if dyno mode is not activated, you can sometimes see PSM interfere on tuned cars. That can only be done with a PIWIS.

That's why we performed a baseline of the car when it arrived at our shop before we even touched it. We wanted to see if there was, in fact, any issues with the car before we started the process of upgrading.

At the end, we're very happy with the results. Whether with the EP exhaust or the Tubi, the results were both very good!

I believe the right way to tune a AWD P-Car is in a Mustang Dyno (load system)
There you will get the real numbers for any baseline and gained whp

Actually, without a PIWIS it's impossible to accurately dyno a 991 Turbo on a Mustang. 997.2 and older cars are OK, but in order to dyno a 991 Turbo on a Mustang, you need the PIWIS to activate the "dyno mode".

hmmm nop, you need the PIWIS on a dynojet, not on a Mustang dyno... On Predator's mustang dyno they didn't have any problems with any of the 991 Turbos

OK...you're the expert. Of course, you can strap the car onto the Mustang and technically make some dyno runs, but without enabling dyno mode (which disables the *** *****), you cannot get an accurate result. This is not necessary on a Dynojet.

We don't have a Mustang, we use a Dynojet.

But, when the 991 was first released, we took our Turbo S test car to a Mustang dyno and tested it, in order to get a comparison to our Dynojet. Here are the results....notice that the Torque number is not outrageously high. This is because we used dyno mode. Now, compare these numbers to other stock cars on Mustang dynos that others have posted without using dyno mode...you'll see the difference.

Our Turbo S that was the R&D for COBB put 431whp & 477wtq stock... so the TQ is a little off, but I don't know if there are really difference in our dyno.

besides we have around 90% of hum. and 90 deg. all year long down here, so is apple to orange from the begining

We have the same weather here in Florida, where all of our tests are performed.

LOL I go to FL (Miami and Orlando) dozens of times a year, FALL Winter & Spring are very nice there... maybe summer is more or less the same.

Point is that our mustang dyno is a perfect tool for tune, and IMHO more accurate that Dynojet

LOL...I also go to Puerto Rico pretty often...especially in December and March (our winter), so I know your weather is just as nice during those times.

Tom@champion can hook you up with a pair of Tubi cats, much better exhaust than Europipe.
After I just a reading this thread you must realise your cred is fully shot now to offer advise that 100 cat performing better than 200, OMG! . And now you bragging like a small man trying to compete advise against CMS who has real cred? Oh boy...
