Will be even more interesting to see how similarly equipped GIAC stage 2 plus/champion intercooler cars fare against Cobb Stage 3/ByDesign intercooler cars at events. We have a private track day on October 7 at Atco where my car is going as well as several Cobb tuned 991 TTS's but none yet have the ByDesign intercoolers/Cobb Stage 3 and I am not sure if any will have them by the date of the event.
This was a big event that needed to happen for these cars to reach their true power potential as the stock intercoolers are a major bottleneck in the way of optimum performance.

That being said, top shelf unleaded race gas seemed to add a lot more than 25 hp at least at the Albuquerque dragway event during Goldrush Rally 7 where it lowered my ETs by a full half second.
Nice gains for the IC's
IMHO I think the Europipe have a restrictive cats, even so you pick up more or less the gain that I assume (15whp a 17wtq) If the Tubi is too loud for you just put the Tubi 200cel cats on, don't put back the Europipe... Tom@champion can hook you up with a pair of Tubi cats, much better exhaust than Europipe.

And the interesting thing about champion's Dyno result is that they don't publish the highest run. They publish the average run. And they keep their Dyno room superhot to try to heat soak the car. That leaves a lower number than they would have if they ran their runs in a cool dyno room. It's a nice way of saying that the way they Dino their cars is actually extremely conservative.
I think I will call their Dyno testing Bikram Dyno. Lol
Of course while the numbers are great the real truth of the effectiveness of these new mods will be demonstrated or not in the real world at the track and dragstrip
This is where my car currently is. Can't wait to get it back

Thanks. I'm very very happy with the Dyno results. The difference especially at the higher RPMs where my car was running out of breath or getting too hot is massive.

No offense intended, just my opinion of Tubi vs Europipe (performance & sound)

SDG- i had a '14 with the europipe, ipd plenum, and giac stage 2 with the race (100 oct) maping....I've moved down to Fla and decided to get back into a '14 Turbo S after selling my 1st one for a ftype R...miseed the P car SO much that i had to get another one. That being said i was wondering if u had the same set up prior to the InterCoolers..? Down here in SFla 100 octane isn't close to me sadly as i had it within minutes of me in Michigan. 100 octane was my normal fill. That being said if you had a similar set up prior to the intercoolers how would u say the power feels on 93 octane with the IC's, plenum, EP, and giac stage 2+ in comparison to prior no IC's on RACE FUEL? While i love the numbers everyone posts, I do not track my car, nor run it to the point of heat sinking however down here in S Fla it can get quite hot....Appreciate the feedback while i consider how to move forward on my "new" currently stock car. Me and a few other local boys here in the S Fla area are waiting on my move to see how they want to move forward on their cars..Being Champion is close to me-10 minutes away- it makes them the easy choice and Tom as well as Austin have been wonderful to deal with in the past. I have also spoke with Sam who was wonderful as well. Oddly enough i don't hear or read much of EVO anymore...my 996 was a stage 4gt with Todd and he couldn't have been more customer service orientated in the past. appreciate any and all real world feedback...
