My 2014 991 turbo s receives champion's new intercoolers and the new giac stage 2 plu
I will be using MS109. I have a nice little stash at home just waiting. I will be severely disappointed if ETs are not below 10.5. I would love to see low tens. The limiting factor that will be my tires. Just not sure I want to plunk down two thousand bucks for a set of r compound tires to do an event or two that I would not use on my car otherwise.

I am not going to use race tires but I will try 32lb air pressure and the trick that EcpChris mentioned which I already linked. I am headed out for a test and tune on Friday evening. I am hoping for 10.5 or 10.4 if I get the tires prepped correctly because these are new PZeros.

We will see. There is a reason I'm not selling it right away

Your best bet is VP MS109. It's actually oxygenated with MTBE and is 105 octane. The VP 101 isn't that great at 101 octane, oxygenated with ethanol. MS109 will have way better knock resistance.
Sun GT plus isn't too bad either, at 104 octane, but is also oxygenated with ethanol (13% as opposed to 10% found at the pump) and has a lower MON rating than vp ms109. For the best power and knock resistance, use the VP MS109.
I think you may wind up leaving the catless. On my 997.2 I went from Tubi Street to BBi race and there really wasn't a huge sound difference at normal cruising or idle. Certainly not a dramatic enough difference that would **** the neighbors off more than the catted version already did
What I really appreciated about the catless is the fact you hear the turbos spool a lot clearer. It's intoxicating.

According to this, your race gas could be contributing to your heatsoak.

We're installing the cat-less exhaust right now and will go right onto the dyno afterwards. I should have the results this afternoon. Conditions today are very similar to last week when we performed the most recent dyno tests. So it will be a very accurate before/after.

Anyway, since Sunoco is what I can get I use the 104 and it's powerful stuff.

http://www.racegas.com/article/10I don't haul anything around with me so I have to buy what they have at the track. At COTA it's VP 101 and at both Ennis and SA hey have Sunoco and I use the GT 260 plus which seems to produce good results for me.

But maybe in the 991 is different story, or the Europipe system have very restrictive cats
Comparing SDG's results to our own 991 Turbo S test car shows a difference of about 10hp/35tq. This test will be nice because it we'll be able to test his car with cats and without under the same test conditions.

SDG is being a bad influence on me again.
First few days after my fabspeed catless, I could not stand it. Now i'm completely used to the sound. I do think It got quieter though. My friend who has a Range Rover Sport SVR says my car sounds about as loud as his stock SUV, which means it really isn't all that bad.
