Just wanted to let you guys know that we now have the 991 VTG turbo upgrades available for those interested. Compressor side is upgraded by the great folks at TiAL who also provide us with the Xona Rotor upgraded turbos for the 996 and 997.1 platform.

Bundles are available with our custom protune on the Cobb Accessport as usual along with exhaust options from Kline and we strive to provide the best pricing and customer service experience possible.

What's the difference between the 991 VTG turbo upgrade and the 997.2 VTG turbo upgrade?

Also have you installed any, or are you looking for a customer to install/test one?

 

In both cases you have the option of doing just compressor upgrades. With the 997.2 you have the Champion 68s as well with custom Tial compressor housings that'll support the most power out of any VTG upgrade out there. However, without supplemental fueling you won't be able to take full advantage of them so fueling should be dealt with first. Meth injection is one way to get some fuel in there but there are others such as what we've talked about here just recently:

Just a quick update on this thread. Speaking to one of TiAL's engineers today other than the compressor wheel upgrade that has now been available for some time an entire new compressor housing will be made available very shortly and will flow better than the OEM compressor housing. We'll have more details on it soon but for some of you that may not have seen any details here's a picture of the new 991 VTG compressor cover that is almost ready to go (see below).

In addition to this upgrade we can also offer additional flow on the turbine side for those interested with a clip of the turbine wheel.
