Thanks Nigel it was a fun day and my son did have fun, I picked up 2016 camaro ss that way he could run that next time and have even more fun. I figured I could take you off the line and then you could play catch up. I was really surprised how well your car left the line I only got you by maybe 1/2 car length in the first 60ft or so and then you just motored right on by and keep going it was down right embarrassing, and really impressive!! Congrats to Sam/Cobb and you and your team have put a screamer together. Im not even in the game any more, hopefully next race I can make it closer one way or the other, big hole to try and climb out of and I know you will be even faster which means I only have to find another 20mph..
Now, I'll need to help my brother sort his new acquisition as he says he's tired of hearing me blab.

Cheers Mark. Honestly at this point who cares. You hear things but it just doesn't matter. I take it as a compliment and it just helps solidify our accomplishments!
Now to you and Nigel...Let's juice up that new American muscle! That's how I started in this game!

Well my original plan was to strip weight from it throw some sport cup 2's on it and use it for a track day car, I figured he and the wife could take it to the 1/2 mile events also since its got a few hp and would be a whole lot more fun driving than sitting passenger. Now Im wrestling with the idea of maybe putting a pro charger/ or maybe a super charger on it, but then it would make it a little sketchy for the track. Maybe I leave the motor mostly stock and put a 300hp nitrous kit on it for 1/2 mile runs that might be the ticket. Any Idea's you got I would like to hear.
What about your plans for your brothers car?

I would Def supercharge but next year after they have gotten a ton of experience and runs.
That platform loves boost and cookie cutter for 700+ Whp.
On the HC we will pick up a set of your MTs and may run meth to help with the IATs. For now only 13 miles on the clock so performing a soft break in.

The vf site says 800 at the crank which still sounds generous

Oh, ok. I didn't know if Champion has set a date or not. If the timeline doesn't work for you, can you pick up the turbo's elsewhere and still get it tuned by your tuner? Not trying to step on toes but I'm a freelance type of guy. I've bought some parts from Champion along with other vendors and had all of my bolt-ons installed by a trustworthy LS team in Vengeance Racing. Vengeance did this as a favor to me as we are friends but now I'm going to a level where they are uncomfortable due to their limited knowledge of Porsche's. This is why I am going to BBI, by design, and Robtuned. Once the car is complete, I will rely on Vengeance for support at the events.
In any sense, I hope everything works out as we all are trying to get faster.

I think Scott and others are just waiting for the Champion/GIAC package as they know from the past that the R&D will be fairly rigorous.
