Just finished the install on the upgraded turbos, as expected, Sam delivered as promised. The install went well, I ended up using my original cores. We sent the cores and Sam over nighted them back. Sean, from Porsche of Huntington and Sam were in constant cominication throughout the process.

So far without the Stage IV tune, the car has a deeper growl and feels more linear and extremely responsivee . Not sure how Sam designed these turbo's but so far they are very impresive. There is No Lag, hopefully tomorrow the weather in New York will hold out and I can install the new tune.

P, as usual the pleasure was all mine. Sean has been great to work with. I love the faith and teamwork from the so many dealers around the world! We made it!

You will find the car to feel quite nice even just on the stage 3 map. I am glad you were able to sample what the TiAL/By Design turbo combo produces as a single change. Now you can spend 40 seconds with you AP and really open up a can of awesome with the stage 4 V1 map! Send some logs when you can and we will dial her in

 

Cant wait to see how it turns out!

Sounds like an incredible upgrade. The no lag part is what interested me the most; can you elaborate on that? Do you mean no additional lag over stock or reduced lag from stock to where it is perceived as no lag?

 

IMO, its seems more responsive, you hit the peddle and it just goes. Drove it first time yesterday, needed to pass someone on a two lane road, the car went from 30 to 70 in a blink of an eye, without that slight hesitation it had before, and that was with the stage III tune. I just installed the stage iv tune, with the Cobb AP, it took no more then 2 min. Unfortunately the weather in New York is horrible and I can't take it out, I will give a full report soon.

 

Awesome! That event would be great if you want to test and tune Pat. I'll be available for you! You are currently running Rob's V3 map as a start which is very strong. We can just do some minor adjustments and dial it in for you ASAP or at the track...Or both to make sure it's great and you and the car are happy.

 

I live on Long island not far from huntington. It was cold out today, not ideal weather for tires, but were you able to test drive car today?
