Michelin PSS

Well after a year of hating the Pzeros, I finally got a set of PSS.

My dealer made a call to the Michelin rep and finally was able to snag a set.

So much smoother drive, quieter and way better grip.

Michelin Sport Cup 2s are the only way to go if tread life is no concern!

I completely agree!

Unless you ever want to drive in the rain. I would switch to Cup 2s, but live in Oregon.

PSS will be my next Summer tire for sure. Quieter, stickier and last longer.

Love PSS, but their availability of late has been terrible. I hope the Michelin man gets his *** in gear.

I wonder if the new p zeros on 991.2 are better than PSS. Reportedly have grip similar to cups.

I heard about that too. The new compound is not only less noisier but also sticks much better. Can anyone confirm this?!

Just did a quick search and Pirelli has 2 different versions of the P Zero. One is known as "P Zero" and the other is "P Zero Corsa". Read a review of the 991TTS equipped with P Zero Corsa and sounds very promising. Haven't come across a review of 991 equipped with the standard P Zero. Hopefully, the tread life is just as good as Michelin PSS/PSC2.

The new pzero is much stickier than the PSS , I have them on my .2 TTS. They are close to a sport cup 2 in compound grip . In my baseline testing I put down multiple 1.5x 60 ft times and a 10.49 quarter mile on a non prepped surface . The tire's are that good .

How's the tread wear on the new P Zero and how is it holding up?

I don't think there is any long term wear experience as the 991.2 are just launching. I love them on mine, feel incredibly grippy, noticeable improvement of the original Pzero's I had on my 2014 991.1. The design is significantly revised.
