I used to have a 97 TT Viper GTS, now a 2013 with bolt ons and tune.

 

Took a ride in d 991, impressive and so smooth. Car is deadly from anything under 40 roll and untouchable out the hole, impressive machine !! So smooth.

Wait. A simple bolt on Viper can pull a 140mph trap car from a roll?

 

Yeah, that surprised the he11 out of me...

 

I think both are very evenly matched . The 991 on d race gas tune is a different animal and deadly. He was on pump gas on d video.
I also feel if the Viper throws 5th gear and the race goes on the 991 will edge it out. Very impressed with the 991 and it's set up. Car is a beast.

 

I would say that's about 137 trap situation. Maybe 138. Really good run. I miss my Viper days. One of my best friends was a Viper technician for many years and we had some good times with those cars in another life LOL. He's having problems putting the power down in the 991 on the big map with his tire combination...but I think I have a solution. He's a busy man!

yeah new viper is an animal with bolt ons and a lot faster with stage 2 head package.

 

Heads and cam Gen V Vipers can run, this is the milder Arrow Stage 2 which makes about 650ish rwhp. Two other shops have more agressive set ups in the 700-720 rwhp on 93, which should run faster than the one posted below.
