Guys I could use some help here. I am looking to have a set of forged wheels made for my car. I am looking at 9X20 and the rears at 11X20 right now. Should I be looking at a 12 inch rear wheel instead? If so should I run a 315 or 325? Any issues with the AWD? I just got a set of Michelin SS about 3500 miles ago in factory sizes but If I go with new rears in a 315 or 325 if needed.
Should I go with the factory offset or use something different/more aggressive?

Hey Tommy, I'll be able to help you out with whatever you need.
It's tough to answer your questions since it was presented as a should/shouldn't scenario but going with a wider wheel & tire setup has many advantages. First off the look you get with a more aggressive offset cannot be understated. A proper fitment paired with the correctly styled wheels completely transforms a car. And then obviously with a wider wheel you can use a wider tire which increases grip. We've done the 991 setup dozens of times before. We have ran 21" setups and even 20" setups with a wider track and not a single time was the AWD system affected.

Here are the two 20" setups that we run:
20"x9.5" // 20"x12"
255/35/20 // 305/30/20
20"x9" // 20"x13"
255/35/20 // 335/30/20
Looks niiiiiiice! Are these two in the picture lowered or just have bigger tires with more offset?

Both are lowered. Remember that on these AWD cars you cannot deviate from their OEM rolling diameters too much or you risk having the system throwing codes. You can't fill the gap with a taller tire, you have to lower the vehicle.
