991.1 TTS goes 0-60 in 2.8 on the street

Hey all,

Thought I would share a new video I put up of my 991.1 TTS. Pretty entertaining. Enjoy.

If you enjoy this type of content, feel free to subscribe. Lot's of Porsche (and TT Lamborghini) content to come.

Next video: I will talk about going from a stage 1 OTS COBB AP race gas tune to a stage II customized race gas tune from Sam ByDesign with Kline exhaust and upgraded tires. Are the performance gains worth it? Stay tuned for that video.

Nice vid. Thanks for posting. I have done it many times with and without people with me. I have a non modified cab and the best I have done so far is 2.9. I know I can do better as I still had a bit of wheel spin. I used the dragy as well. Fun times.

Not sure how people are getting 2.6 and such. It’s really hard! 0-60 is a lot more about ambient temp, surface condition, and tires versus HP.

I am excited to see the difference between stage 1 and stage 2, unfortunately the nasty winter weather in Michigan isn’t cooperating and I am not getting the opportunity to test the car.

Has to be hot, could never get below 2.7 with the Pirelli's, 2.4-2.5 with Michelin's, 100 octane stage 4, of course now we got 40-50 degree temps, car runs like a rocket, but no traction

Always funny to watch Newbs experience Sub 3 0-60's.

Especially 2.8 - 2.9 sec. 0-60 in my old toy (7100 lb. Quad Cab Modded Diesel Pickup that made 1050 WHP & 1700 WTQ).... People expect it from high dollars exotics, but not a huge heavy truck on All Terrain tires. lol

My car was pretty good about getting 2.8 and the best I got was 2.75 from a standing start but if you allow for 1ft rollout then it was 2.43s. Either way, it's damn fast. I took my 488 Spider out to the county road a month ago and found out where it's faster than the 991tts, hint, not 0-60. The 0-60 isn't impressive, I used LC and got 3.5s on a 1.88s 60ft and 10.9 ET for the quarter with a 134mph trap speed. The trap speed shows you that the car is powerful but I think I needed to be in either ESC off or CT off mode to get a better 60ft, 0-60 and lower ET for the quarter. Here are my best 991tts 0-60 results on a county road with PZero N0 tires.

2.75s standing start

2.43s 1ft rollout

Very nice. Ya the draggy doesn't have 1' rollout. I hope they update it because the dragstrip has 1' rollout as well.

Ya a 991 TTS would need a stage 2 to make a roll race against a 488 interesting. I think my stage 2 would give a 488 a great run. I just went 60-130 in 6.8 secs in 84% humidity on a mix of 93 and 109 with an ES tune. More to come on that later.
