Gixxer's Turbo S
Hi All,
I recently joined this forum after acquiring my 991.1 Turbo S. I have been very active with various builds in the BMW community and on Instagram (username Gixxerboyf83 - although I may have to change that to reflect new Porsche ownership! LOL!)
I originally wanted a 991 GT3 after an amazing experience with one on a track... I felt like the GT3 was the perfect car! But once I drove one on the street, it honestly felt less impressive around town than my M4!
Turbo S became the obvious choice, but I still liked the visual aspects of a GT car better...
Now that I have acquired the right Agate Gray Turbo S car with Yellow Carbon Ceremic Brakes and Racing Yellow seat belts, I am advancing my vision to make it my own...

Enjoy!
Mods coming!!!
(and Boy are they coming!!!)

As for your car, great and classic color, please be gentle with the mods and make sure it's reversible, this car is special as it is and slowly making it's way to the classic sector (meaning people will want it original), as 992 are taking place. Enjoy!
Congratulations! You choose wise! If you would look at actual numbers, you would realize the GT3 (specially the .1) is not impressive on the track as well, nice noise and that's about it.

parts and everything I do will be reversable
So the modding has begun....
I wanted to set the ride height to GT spec with a set of H&R springs:

Pretty soon, a new set of 21" wheels came in alternate GT3 RS sizing:
Specs are 21x9.5 ET45 front and 21x12 ET48. These will be shoed with Michelin PS4s in 255/30/21 and 325/25/21

Then on to Euro Auto Fest in Greenville, SC when the rains came....
Somehow, Turbo managed to stay perfectly clean for the show.
We didn't drive anywhere until the sun came out and dried everything up.
There was also several other Porsches, including s GT3 and a GT2 RS that also showed up and decided to hang out with me in the RAIN!
I AM LOVING THIS CAR!!!
