SO unbelievably great. I love it.

 

Hmmm. With the noise pollution restrictions which have effectively relegated the last two generations of 911's into Lexus sounding ***** mobiles this car sounds way too good to be true in stock form i.e. the car has way too loud a note for what the regulatory authorities would EVER allow. So, that can only mean one of two things. 1) The sound clip has been doctored or 2) the car is running an exhaust system that simply won't be supplied on the actual 991 cars for sale in showrooms. In other words, as they say: if something "sounds" too good to be true it usually is. This i believe is just another example. And FWIW, i totally agree the car sounds hot as a Porsche SHOULD sound. However there is a nasty problem called "nanny".

 

I agree that it sounds better than stock 997 w/o PSE, but I'm assuming these press cars all had PSE installed. Would like to hear a 997 w/ PSE in same video (to allow for same environment & background noise). I don't think they sounds too loud at all.

Remember, these are Launch Control starts with a microphone fairly close to the car.

Sounds great...how much of a difference between the 60ft from older launch control and the new?
