Is it me or do the engine lids on the 991 looks especially small compared to the two previous generations? Looks likes it's going to be especially difficult to fit your hands up in that bad boy. And with the engine sitting low and the bottom of the decklid high, even more trouble reaching the lower parts.

 

Yes, HC, lift the 991 deck lid and you see no more than you would on a Cayman: a place to put water and oil. And two small fans I think.

To my eyes the OP pics look like that of a widebody. Does it have a rear air inlet?? Look at the track width differences between f and r. Could be wrong.

 

Does not look WB to me.

Overall looks like a 991 with the styling cues from the outgoing 997.2 GT3.... as expected and looks fine to me.

The spoiler doesn't match. The car clearly has a spoiler that extends past the taillights in the long distance shots, but there is no such possibility on the close ups. Maybe they're testing different aero parts individually?

All the same, I think it looks very nice.
