Hi All,

Excellent weather here in the tri-state area this weekend so I decided to snap some pics of my 991 cab S when we escaped Manhatttan to our NJ place. I also included some pics of the escort 9500ci install because I knew a few of you were interested. Didn't get the interior though, oops, it's fully hidden anyway.

Stunning how do you find the glare from the dash? Is it as bad as everyone says?

 

The glare is a bit troublesome I have to admit, but I wear sunglasses almost all the time while driving during the day so it basically disappears for me. It's not enough of a pain that I wouldn't choose the same color combo again if that helps. Would be great if there was a two-tone option where that upper dash part is black along with maybe the middle part of the doors and the carpets.

Nice ride. Though i have to say the back end logo is just way too busy...

 

I had thought so initially as well, but you don't know how many times I've been asked "is that a Carrera or a 911?" so I think the marketing experts were right to educate the average person on the fact that a Carrera IS a 911. Funny, but lets the back of the car do the explaining for me.
