New recall on cabs?

Looks like Porsche has stopped sales of cabs because of issues with the power windscreen and/or roof.
My C2S Cab finally arrived, but the dealer says Porsche will not let them release it until they resolve the issue.

I found out the same thing from my dealer yesterday but no mention of not releasing. My car is supposed to be ready Friday. This would really be a drag!

My car was held for 6 days. Dealer just called and said I can pick it up tomorrow (Friday).

When the windscreen is up and you close the top the windscreen should retract, in some instances that wont happen and the top stops midway causing a fault. I dont know the official fix however, if you park the car overnight that some how clears the fault and it starts to work. I do know there is a "stop sale" on Cabs.

Are you saying they are stopping sales on the cabs for now?

What a shame.

Not sure that happens on mine as I close the windscreen before I close the top but with that said, my dealer told me they put some kind of lubricant on it before it left preventing it from getting stuck. Not sure how a lubricant will solve this issue but I haven't been driving with the windscreen up.

I think the car looks a lot better with the top down, windscreen down, and windows down as well. I'm willing to mess up my hair for a little bit extra joy

I don't use the windscreen much, but I had it refuse to retract once. I gave it a couple of taps and it then went down. I won't use the windscreen for now and will check with service when I bring it in next time.

Windscreen

When I picked up my car, the dealer told me a couple of cars were not registering when the windscreens were retracted, which prevented the car from raising the roof. He said it was an easy fix (but this contradicts the 10 days it took Porsche to figure out a fix).

My dealer told me to put down the windscreen first with its own button, then put up the top. No possibility of a problem that way. Then he told me to wait for my recall notice - that was a week ago, no notice yet. Car was built late February.
