991 Club Coupe
To mark the 60th anniversary of the first Porsche Club, Porsche will be offering a limited edition run of Porsche 911 Club Coupe’s. The 911 Club Coupe will be based on the new (991) 911 Carrera S Coupe with a classic exterior color named “Brewster Green” from the special range of Porsche individual colors. Each car will also get the lettering “911 Club Coupe” on the door.
Porsche engineers have increased the power rating of the 3.8 liter engine to 430hp, a gain of 30hp over the standard 991 Carrera S. Modifications include a new set of cylinder heads and camshafts, a newly developed variable resonance-type intake system with switchable flaps, a center radiator, a sports exhaust system with two dual tailpipes, the Sport Chrono Package with dynamic engine mounts and an optimized engine management system. The engine bay styling has also received enhancements with a titanium-colored cover and inserts in carbon fiber.
Standard options include the Sport Design Package which consists of a distinctive front bumper with front spoiler and a duck tail rear spoiler. The Club Coupe also gets the Sport Suspension PASM package as standard with an electronically controlled damping system and suspension lowered by 20mm.
Inside, Porsche have fitted a switch panel trim strip with laser etched engraving “911 Club Coupe – personally built for” and the name of the Porsche Club member and owner of the car. Owners will also receive a 911 Club Coupe leather key pouch and an illuminated door entry guards painted in Brewster Green with an inlay made of brushed stainless steel.
Ten years ago, Porsche North America offered a similar vehicle, built on the 997 Carrera S. Those models featured Azurro California paintwork and were limited to fifty examples. This time around, only 12 Club members will have the opportunity to own one of the 991 Porsche 911 Club Coupe’s. One will remain at Porsche headquarters, the remaining eleven will cost 142,831 Euros each. Porsche Club members have until 16 July 2012 to register their right to purchase one of the twelve.

Is this going to be the new mod for the X51? I've been waiting for this. Wish it was around 450 hp though, about 100 more than mine to justify the 100K more in cost!

This is the new X51 mod (http://www.porsche.com/microsite/911...rnational.aspx) +30hp, same torque, ~-0.1sec 0-60. As for price....?

$180,000? Sure seems early in the model life for a parts-bin dump.
Insanity rules. Club Coupes were nice too, and remember they raffled one off? But values just don't seem to hold for this, in my opinion. For that kind of coin, you can get something with more juice if you wanted (turbo)....
And Brewster Green?
Well, I guess to each his/her own.
