dhill, congrats..it feels perfect. You'll love it. Will do at sunup Charcharius - all good choices..but this anthracite, it had every sales guy and the general manager standing outside staring at it while we went through the final bits. It really is a stunner and looks different in different lights as you've probably read. I don't feel like a UPS truck at all, hehe.
CONGRATS!!!!!
Would love to see some more pics.
or better yet a video clip of what that PSE sounds like in sport+ with a MT!
Oh, uuuhhm... not to be too picky my friend but ehhhh...well... how on earth are ya going to get that beauty through those tiny garage doors.

That's an amazing looking vehicle !! Love the the espresso interior, I have yet to see one in person though. Take more pictures of the interior when you get a chance. I would also think the Anthracite Brown would look good with some Euro Side Markers.

thanks guys very much - I love the cars but the people here rock too, and have learned so much from reading your experiences also. I was just looking for the Euro side markers, haha - am going to your site to order right now. You sent me some "supercharged" badges for an Audi S5, and they came quickly and sealed from Germany..great stuff.
Will take some decent pics all over as soon as I have a spare hour and a decent camera.

Great! Can't wait to see pics. Will def help with my decission. I'm between Luxor, Espresso and Umber on an anthracite cabrio as well.
Thanks
- ..it was a tough decision between going for this or waiting for the C4S and updated manual double declutch stuff, but just fell in love with this car. I think PDK's are great and drove one with the 997.2 C4S for a few months. I just had to have a Porsche manual tranny experience while there is still time <grin>. Really enjoying it, but if I had to drive in any serious stop and go traffic every day, it would likely be different. I get the most marvelous pops and burbles with the sport plus option and this manual, I don't know if the PDK gets the same (probably) but it's just marvelous and I can't really express just how good the PSE is on the 991 (in my limited experience so far). It's truly awesome. I recorded the exhaust and engine tonight and need to transfer it off the iphone and onto imovie so I can make a youtube vid. I have to show off how this thing sounds - I've driven Fabspeed exhausts and AWE exhausts, both were great..but this is really amazing too from Porsche.
P.S. here is a flickr photo set of the car so far (just basic iPhone pics): http://www.flickr.com/photos/3963286...7631458823076/
