Thumbs up FINALLY...My 4S config...order placement this week BUT..

After countless sleepless nights and a LOT of thinking/discussions etc etc... it has finally come down to the following config for my First Ever Porsche! I wanted this to be timeless as I plan to keep this baby for a very long time!!

Burmester® Audio Package $5,010
Premium Package Plus with Adaptive $6,155 Sport Seats Plus
GT Silver Metallic $3,140
Espresso natural leather interior $4,840
Window trim in high gloss Aluminum $395
ParkAssist (front and rear) $990
Electric sunroof $1,490
Electric folding exterior mirrors $320
Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control $4,050 (PDCC) with PASM sport suspension
Sport Exhaust System $2,950
Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) $4,080
Sport Chrono Package $2,370
20-inch Carrera S wheel $0 Wheels painted Platinum (semi-gloss) $950 (Exclusive)
Smoking package $0
Sport Chrono clock dial in Carrara White $500 (Exclusive)
Adaptive Sport Seats Plus (18-way) $0
Multi-function steering wheel $615
Natural leather interior $0
Rear-view mirror in leather (Exclusive) $675
Porsche Crest on headrests (Exclusive) $285
Voice Control $595
Destination Charge $950
Total $145,990

I'm negotiating a deal for the car that's building up quick order backlog, it's a bit challenging, but I'm working on it. Plan to close the deal with the deposit this week before I'm off to another long biz trip

I'm seeking venerable fellow 6SO members' opinion on a few config items:

1.Would Espresso interior + Carrera S Platinum painted Semi-Gloss wheels go with each other?

2. Would Carrera S Platinum painted Semi-Gloss wheels + Window trim in high gloss Aluminum go with each other?

3. How about Rear View Mirror in leather? I have not seen a car with this option yet, I expect this to look very nice especially in Espresso leather?

4. Thoughts on the Sport Chrono clock dial in Carrara White? I could save $500 without it, but it kinda look nice and goes with the rev counter!

Hopefully I get your thoughts on the above items before locking and forgetting (yeah right!) about it until it shows up in early Jan! My dealer says, I'll be the first one for them

CONGRATS!
Got yourself a hell of a build there, damn....

OK here ya go.
1= yes.
2= no, but it might...
3= yes! from inside but... not so much from the outside (unless the door is open or it's a cab).
It'll be the only brown you'll see (from the outside) and very prominent at that, if ya look at it with the black bits, high-gloss alum. trim and the satin platinum wheels... it might be a bit much.
4= maybe... thought of doing this myself (in conjunction with white instrument dials) but also think it would make the "wart" standout too much... hold on you've got the espresso... so YES... that would look good.

Well by my count that makes 4 of us now who've got a 991 C4S on order... and all totally different.

The only question I would have is; Why do you need a 4 in the Bay Area? Just get a 2S and save some money and wait time.

It is not like it actually snows there....

Firstly congratulations! The car will be super.

1.Would Espresso interior + Carrera S Platinum painted Semi-Gloss wheels go with each other?

Whilst I think a black interior would be ideal with those wheels I think it'll look fine with espresso. Aside from that I do think the wheels will look stunning with the GT Silver you've specd.

2. Would Carrera S Platinum painted Semi-Gloss wheels + Window trim in high gloss Aluminum go with each other?

I think the aluminium trim would be too bright and may be too much. I would leave it out.

3. How about Rear View Mirror in leather? I have not seen a car with this option yet, I expect this to look very nice especially in Espresso leather?

I have not seen this option but think its aesthetics would depend on the headliner colour.

4. Thoughts on the Sport Chrono clock dial in Carrara White? I could save $500 without it, but it kinda look nice and goes with the rev counter!

IMO not worth the money.

Nice Build!! I ordered a 2S MT that is virtually the same, except black full leather interior. I've heard the Espresso looks great with GT Silver. Answers to questions, IMO:

1) Would look nice, but I would consider another wheel. . . . Carerra Classic or Sport Techno
2) Too Much. . . . Stick with Black. . . Sportier
3) Yes, would look very nice.
4) if it matches the Tach, I'd do it, as long as you don't mind it Popping and really standing out.

Just my 2 cents.

Best of Luck!

3 reasons:

1. Bigger Hip
2. Better Grip
3. Rear Light Strip

Psycho Sid, Haku, dhill911: Cheers for your fantastic feedback...!

Conclusion:
1. Yes Espresso, TBD Platinum Wheels (looking at few more cars to finalize the wheels..)
2. High Gloss window trim ...removed!
3. Rear view mirror in leather ...removed!
4. Carrera white in Sport Chrono ...removed!

Things considering to be added....
1. Looking at replacing GT Silver with White?????? White is <$3K... could help me add center console in leather with deviated stitching plus steering wheel column in leather!
2. Seat belts in Silver Grey!

Decisions decisions.... make decisions all day at work... but when it comes down to cars have no idea....

Imo Gt silver > white, whites are everywhere, look good but its like the most common 991 color, GT silver is an absolutely stunning color and more unique too.
Seat belts in silver = yes!!!

RBH is infamous around these parts
I'm more of a reader than a poster around here, but I had to say this; GT silver + Espresso interior is absolutely stunning. I see white 911s all the time over here; it's getting boring. If you take GT silver + Espresso interior + creme or white stitching you will be my hero.

Congrats in advance

Contrasting stitching (silver/white) is a must on the espresso interior...
