Picked up my S today!
My build was completed on the 7th, on the Marina Ace which sailed on the 12th, arrived Brunswick 24th, at the dealer in Chattanooga 26th afternoon! I arrived at the dealership just in time to see the car being delivered off the trailer. Knowing I live 60 miles away, the dealer (the best ever!) moved other schedules and prepared the car for me to take away in a few hours. As a bonus I spent a load of time talking and observing the tech do his thing on the car. Just an amazing experience and day! I did not expect the car to come in today let alone knowing that my garage once again has a Porsche in it! Btw, the car drives SUPERBLY! Just some pics of the day... Sorry for the cellphone quality. I'll shoot some others over the next few days.

Very nice!!! What are you doing on the computer? Shouldn't you be in the car with the manual, getting to know it?

I am so wiped out but excited! Spending more time in or on the car would be so unfair to my super patient wife. She stayed with me for the many hours at the dealership and indulged me in my boyish excitement. More car stuff and i may be pushing it! So for now I'm tucked in bed with iPad at the ready and the morning to look forward to.I've shoved my work aside for tomorrow and am dedicating time to clean and wax the car. Then tidy up the garage and then sit down and enjoy. Then the customary 10 minute reading of the manual, toss it away and vroom!
Thanks to all for coping with my long winded post.
Thank you galion. The silver body color and platinum wheel combo was a bit risky but I'm happy with how it turned out. I'll get some better resolution pictures taken in the next few days.
Congrats Haku-What a beautiful car with great options. You will love the 991 more with each mile as the motor breaks in. I followed the break in guidelines so the first few thousand miles were slightly painful for me. I have about 3K miles and loving every minute of it! Its a special day for you so congrats again!
Xpell or Llumar (not window tinting) clear bra happening next week. Sill trying to research with is better.
LoJack not happening due to zero crime rate where we live (rural, hilly, small college town and community) also the likelihood of a perpetrator being caught and unpleasantries happening to him are very high
Congrats! Looks very nice. Great choice on both the wheel style and especially the color. I was expecting they would be body color match though when you said they were platinum too. Don't get me wrong, they look way better in the color they are than if they matched the body!
Next mod you should do is to get the front lip painted body color. I think it'll look good to keep the front air slats in the bumper black instead of painting them, though it's really impossible to know without seeing them both ways.
Any other plans for mods?
