New spy shot just realeased. The car will be unveilled this coming Wednesday.

I dare say it's even more beautiful than the new 991.



Perfect proportions and nice and tight.

 

Maybe I've just gotten used to the 991, but the new Cayman spy shots aren't doing much for me. Maybe when the press-ready packs come out with more photos, but the 991 easily wins in design between the two, so far, imo.

 

It looks like a mini Panamera, the 991 is better looking.

Nice but its no 911(991). I'm sure the handling is terrific etc but it just doesn't do it for me either. I'm sure the cayman section on this site would have a lot to say about it.

I feel both cars are pretty sharp looking, I do prefer the rear profile of the 991. I think the new cayman will be more fun to drive, I totally love the handling of my cayman. At the end of the day a 911 will have better resale value, I lost so much money when I sold my cayman. Looking forward to a test drive of the new cayman s

 

Seriously though the Cayman is a great car, a machine built for mountainous winding roads.

 

As the OP I'll say I'm just teasing a little with this thread. They're all gorgreous cars. Love the 991. Love the 981 Boxster and Love the 981 Cayman. Hell, I even like the current Panamera, but it's gonna start to feel a little old soon.

I have a bar if soap in my hand that you can use to wash your mouth out with.

 

The 991 is the Millenium Falcoln. The 981 is an X-Wing Fighter. Both cool in their own right.

 

I have to admit, this is a really good looking car and will take some 991 sales away. However, for me the more muscular lines and the lack of the side air vent makes the 991 still the car for me.
