Well you beat me to it. I agree. I had mine changed at about 1300 miles and now at 3500 miles, it hasn't eaten any oil whatsoever. HUGE improvement. It takes a tad longer to warm up from cold, but whatevs, I can cope.

I tried to get my dealer to change it at 5000 and he said we recommend 10,000 or 1 year so I still haven't changed it.
