A/C on at start

Quite alright. Just be glad my sound effects don't come through the keyboard. Cough, choke, hack...
While I'm in a cheerful mood, I think I'll go write a nastygram to Panorama about the incompetent review of the 991 C4S they just printed. Complaining about computers in sports cars is an old diatribe and the author is entitled to his views. Complaining about that same computer not doing the things a BMW computer does is hypocritical. Complaining about it not doing something it does do because you were too lazy to check the manual is irresponsible.

I didn't pay much attention to this thread since here in Houston we use the A/C quite a bit. But then one day when it was cold for a few nanoseconds and I thought I would see what my car does. Mine works as follows-- if I have the A/C Off button red light on when I turn the car off the red light is on when I start the car; similarly, if the red light is off when I turn the car off the red light is off when I start the car. I don't know why this happens given some of what others are saying. I have the PCM sport chrono as well as the key memory activated. Maybe using the two makes a difference?
