Imperceptible.

Wouldn't this stumble affect the zero to sixty times listed in the back of our manuals. If it can not meet those stated times the car is not performing as designed. Then the car needs to be brought up to specs. This is just another way to present the problem to Porsche.

Yeah, give me a little credit here, OK? I know the difference. And yes, I've owned both, including an E92 335 with the hpfp issue.

Resurrecting an old thread with a question, is this just an issue with the PDK or is the MT cars having the same issues?

I'm not kidding. That's the official word on my problem.
That is a weak response from Porsche. Does the car stumble at full throttle if so how does the tech. react to that?

Based on survey results, it seems to occur to both PDK and MT cars.

It affects C2, C2S, C4, C4S with PDK or Manual; Powerkit or not.

If the car is stumbling under full throttle, it isn't noticable. Mine seemed to be fine as long as I drove the car harder.

Ive been debating as to which car I should get next between r8, vantage, and 991 911, and came to a pretty firm decision on 991 911 GTS 4 until I came across this thread. Should this be a deal breaker? What are the chances that the 2015 GTS models have this problem as well?

Odds are about 30%. The GTS has the X51 Powerkit motor. The same one my X51 C2S has, so 2015 probably won't address the issue. You just have to cross your fingers. I say, get a GT3.

I wish I can, only thing holding me back from a GT3 is that I live in NY and work in NYC. I can deal with the harsh ride as I DDed the GTR with no problem but dont know about the ride height. Also, I really want MT

After reading posts concerning disconnecting the battery and resetting the ECU to fix the stumble issue, I thought I'd give it a try. (I left the battery disconnected for 30 mins.) First, the good news: It works! Much to my amazement the stumble was now almost nonexistent. A very noticeable and much appreciated improvement. Needless to say, I was a very happy camper.

Now for the bad news: the fix only lasted for the day. Driving the car the next day the stumble was back, and as bad as ever. A major letdown to say the least. Maybe the fix is to disconnect the battery every night?

Bottom line - this at least gives me hope that the issue can eventually be resolved. There's got to be a sharp Porsche engineer/tech somewhere out there that can connect the dots.

@runner1021,
I have had the exact same experience after each dealer ecu reset (which lasts for 24 hrs).
Certainly not a placebo effect and does imply that a fix is possible.

I have not given up on this issue..
