G-Force on PCM

I am wondering if there is any way to have the G-Forces screen that is in the drivers' screen on the bigger PCM screen? It seems like most of my passengers prefer looking at this screen rather than the compass, tuner, or map. I have tried through the options to somehow pull the screen up, but so far have been unable.

I have a 2013 991 Cabriolet. Thanks for your help!

I think you need the Sport Chrono Package to have this information available. Do you know if that's an extra that comes with the car?

Did someone get this to work? I tried last night but did not see this under Car-Options. Might have to consult the manual.

Yes, it works at tonyep described. Once you get to the personal setting screen, you will have 4 data choices (time, temperature, speed, etc), click on the one you want to change and scroll through choices. The one you want to select is longitude velocity or latitude velocity (not sure what the difference between the two). What this will give you is the number, but NOT the graphic. I do not know how to get the graphic as pictured in the post, unless someone else does.

Do you have the sport chrono package? Only cars that have it has the g-force sensors.

Longitude is for and aft and latitude is side to side.

I believe the PCM display in Bluepr0's post is showing the lap timer, not the g-force. IIRC from when I tried it in my previous 997.2, you need to set a reference lap so that the car knows the distance/length of the lap. When you reset the timer as you pass the start/finish point, the colored arc starts at 12:00 and grows clockwise along the circle as you progress around the lap. Depending on the elapsed time of the current lap, the arc color changes if you are faster or slower (not sure if it was vs. the time of the reference lap or fastest lap so far).

I agree that it is the reference lap timer, and not the g-force sensor like the driver's controlled g-force slide on the 991 with sport chrono package. I was able to change the lat and long g-forces and see the numbers, but my passangers really prefer to see the slide of the meter, not necessarily what the actual numbers are. They just like to see it go side to side (and really, who can blame them!) I wish Porsche would come up with a software upgrade that would allow it to happen. It is no more distracting than a sat-nav or changing the iPod track. Really an oversight on their part, in my opinion.

Bummer, I was looking forward to seeing the G-force meter on the big screen. I love using this to gauge how hard I am pushing through the corners on twisty roads.
