Glare from Beige Dash on Windshield?
Here you go...
I selected the aluminium pedals, brushed alu trim (to colormatch the silver carbonfiber) and sportdesign steering wheel to give your interior a more sporty look.
Now some various color options:

^ Black Dials ^

^ White Dials ^

^ Red Dials ^

^ Black Seatbelts ^

^ Red Seatbelts ^
Personally I prefer the black or white dials and black seatbelts with this interior combination, but as I said before, it's your car and you have to get whatever makes you happy, regardless of what I or someone else says.
Color combinations are all a matter of personal taste. I do help designing some interiors of appartments sometimes and because of that I get a certain preference and feeling for color combinations, but still it's based on my own taste.
Most important thing is that you follow your heart and get what you and your family like most!
The only thing I or other people can do is give a personal opinion....
Here's another render of the comparison between Espresso-Cognac and Black-Luxor Beige, where you can see the difference between the two:

And some views of the interior in Espresso-Cognac with red and white dials:

Edit:
Something different. To show that you even can make this classic color look in two different ways. One sporty, one classic. Completely different concepts, but still the same great sportscar. That's the wonderful thing about the 911. There's one for everyone!

That will clear all doubts!!!
Btw, where in Switzerland do you live?
My wife and I love going skying there, we try to go every year in February.
I like spending hours on the configurator and I know how hard it is to make your own perfect config. Glad to help
I live in a very small village near the city of Zug, somewhere sout-east of Zürich and Luzern.
That might solve her problems but the other 3 issues I mentioned would still get in the way. Oh, well...
I definitely love the seat belts in red!!!
I think it gives the car life and the final sporty touch with all this classy atmosphere.
I like the sport chono I white, but not the dials, I think it is too much of a light color.
I don't like the sport chrono in red, it pops out too much and doesn't blend well, but the instruments kind of like them from the side view.
Keeping the red seatbelts, I wonder what would if be the best match:
1. White chrono/black instruments.
2. Red instruments/black chrono
3. Red instruments/ white chrono.
4. Black/black
Which program do you use to do all these images? Is there one from Porsche? I'd like to do it myself, I don't want to keep bothering You with this.
I decided to go for the new car, doesn't matter if they allow me the changes, I rather pay the penalty for cancelation than keep a car I will always be thinking it could of been better.
Last car I bought for myself it was in late 2005, I ordered a 350 slk, ordered all Carlsson tuning equipment, then soon the first cayman came out, wanted to cancel the slk, but I would of lost the money for the tuning, I kept it and really never enjoyed it 100%, always thought The cayman was a much better option.
This 991 I intend to keep it for good, want to get old with it and pass it to my children some day (this is one of the reasons I chose mahogany metallic ), so I will configure it just the perfect way IMO and personal taste.

The seatbelts look better than I expected and I really understand that you go for them.
I agree with you that you need to order the car just the way you want, otherwise you can get regrets and the feeling you describe about the Merc...
The program I use is the Porsche 3D configurator. It's on the Porsche website.
In your case, you best go to this website, because there's every option available, inlcuding the Espresso-Cognac.
http://www.porsche.com/latin-america-en/
Now click on Build your own Porsche and you'll see something like the picture below.
If you don't see the 3D button, you have to use another browser. I use Maxthon Cloud Browser which works really well on both Windows and OSX. It's a very nice browser in any way.
For 3d you click on the 3D tab, shown in the picture. You first have to install Unity webplayer: http://unity3d.com/webplayer
After you installed it, close and restart the browser, before you go use the configurator.
Good luck and keep us informed!

dr bit,
Suzy has shown you how to do a configuration. Here is what the result looks like (my config): http://www.porsche.com/microsite/por...e/?c=/PEQ8M376
Click on the link and when the configuration opens, in the upper right corner of the image click on 3D. Once it loads, click on the full screen icon and then you'll see it not only in 3D but it'll move all around the car, inside and out.
This will give you something to do at night when you can't sleep!

BTW... This whole thing has made me take another look at my own configuration, since I still have 6-7 months left before I want my car to be delivered. That would give me time enough to do a Leather to Sample in my beloved two tone Black-Red which is only available on the Turbo S.... Oh my....
Ok guys, they just told me that it is not possible for me to change interiors at this point, I have 3 options:
1. Keep mahogany metallic / beige Luxor and espresso stitching.
2.mahogany/ bi tone black-beige , stitching I guess beige and espresso.
If I do any of these opinions I will receive the car in November as programmed.
3. Wait till February and get it Special color Espresso Cognac science this combination is standard in Latin American configuration.
What do You say?
