Cosmoline is a petroleum based product so its natural for it to smell like oil.

my driver's side window switch does that sometimes. I just hold it down for a second or so and it works fine.

Take it in and let them look at it. It's supposed to operate immediately not after an indeterminable waiting period. Besides its still under warranty and soon it may not operate at all.

Yep, planning on it.

Besides these 2 issues, other intermittent issue is that chronos digital vs analog clocks sometimes are off..(see photo)...I've been told they'll look a at and likely a software update. The shop manager never heard about this issue...not sure if anyone got similar issue?

scarneva is infamous around these parts
Fester,
Funny, I have the same driver's side window switch issue, and have also noticed the sport chrono time issue once in the first week of ownership (it has since been accurate). Curious to hear what they find once you take it in.

Yep will take it in few weeks, after my overseas trip. By the way, I've noticed that driver side window switch when pushed all the way (beyond resistance point for auto), it doesn't work but if gently pressed it does. That meant its a switch issue...

On the chrono clock, I'm still getting this issue intermittently.

Will let you know when I get these looked at.
