Yep. You get them free of charge. In fact, I received two of them... one week apart.

Scoop of C of A

The C of A that many buyers get, is a result of dealer participation. Some dealers will make arrangements for their buyers to get it along with some of the other goodies that are received. Porsche (the company) has little to do with most of those gifts. If you don't get a C of A. you can pay $100 to Porsche for one (I think you can get one for an older car as well as long as you provide the information they need and you money).
The notion of a C of A is pretty absurd IMHO. When you think about it, if you don't have one for your car, will you car not be considered a "real" Porsche?
What other company has C of A's? None. It's a great way to squeeze a little more $$ out of the customer.
So if you like the idea of having a "certificate" on your garage wall (or wherever) pony up the dough or ask your dealer to send you one (meaning having them pay Porsche to get one to you).

I know that Ferrari offers a Certificate. But it is really expensive and you have to have proof and may even have to send your car to Maranello IIRC.

I never bothered with it when I had my Ferrari but, for some reason, I am leaning toward getting one for my P-car. Seems pretty easy.

<!--td {border: 1px solid #ccc;}br {mso-data-placement:same-cell;}-->What have you eventually selected? As I have the same dilemma, have a peek at this web-site. I see people are suggesting both of them having many reasonable arguments. And I see other certificates have been recommended here. Is RHCSA really the most appropriate? I cannot make up my mind. I think it will be more informative to look through job descriptions and see what they demand.
