PDK software update...definite change

My car went in for its 5k service yesterday and another software update was done which also affects PDK performance. I took the car out for a 50 mile spirited drive and found the PDK (in varying shift modes) to be significantly more responsive and "tighter" in both sport and sport + modes. Even better moments of firm instantaneous neck-snap shifts. Love it!

Anyone else notice this after the software update?

Absolutely. The difference in all modes is much crisper/faster shifts. Service adviser indicated this is what the update was supposed to accomplish.

Would you guys happen to know what cars the PDK update is for? What build dates to be exact?

It needs a steering software update next. I wish I could adjust the steering feel manually via software. I would add even more weight to it.

Haku - would it be too much trouble to obtain the service bulletin number from your dealer. I took my car in for service and inquired about a PDK software update and was told there was one for the 4S but not the 2S. Thanks

Thanks.
Mine is a early 2013 build.

I emailed my SA to get more info. If he comes up with anything I will post it here for everyone.

The PCM will stay the same. That is a separate piece of software.

Porsche part number 99161861908 for my Carrera, back in July.
Model year dependents, "shift requests menu" may comes up in PCM if it wasn't there before.
