I'm confused, I thought the ECU needs to be send out for decryption first? Or can you guys do that in-house?

Looks like this is a very cool product with some nice gains.

Thanks!

You are correct, it does. When I say "we flashed" I'm referring to the whole process. Typically, we do all of our flashes right here in-house, with the exception of the 991's and new Cayenne/Panamera.

Sorry...I didn't mean to be misleading.

I will say this though...the process is VERY fast. We overnight the ECU's to GIAC, they flash same day, and overnight back. It's something that can be done while you're car is in for routine service. The guys at GIAC do a great job of making it very painless.

Another question I think I'll ask on the forum instead within a PM since people are probably wondering about it as well. How does Porsche NA react to that tune in terms of warranty claims? Or does the tuner step-in like Dinan (for BMW) does with their tunes, and other mods?

Thank you!

Yes, we noticed similar gains with the PSE. Having an upgraded exhaust will certainly help with power gains, whether it be factory or aftermarket.

Sorry for my ignorance, but the be baseline Dyno torque and HP curves look to me like that of a 3.4 not a 3.6 Carrera S..

Am I reading it wrong or is intended for a 3.4 (the description of the vehicle is an "S")..

A special thanks to Champion Motorsport for the many hours spent remote tuning and testing with GIAC's engineers.

The baseline dyno is for a Carrera S (3.8L). Please click on the provided link to see a dyno for the 3.4L Carrera.

I have been receiving a few PM's regarding our software files. Our software upgrade is our own file, not an OEM (ex. X51 file) file that we just flash into your car. We have full control over the maps within the DME, and as such can write our own custom software. Because of this, we can also offer software upgrades to Power Package cars (which already feature a modified software version from the factory).

why cant we get the price, why must we get a pm to get price.?

are you giving different prices to different cars(cab, cabS 4,4S? etc)

why not just give a price so we all can see, and then we dont have to wait for a pm back...
