A recent post by AoshichanX detailed a number of modifications to his 991 White Carrera. One was the addition of Fabspeed twin tip exhausts which were apparently the same size as those from a 997 S. I contacted AoshichanX about the install and he reported it was just a simple bolt on as the size was the same.

I have an acquantance who has a set of S twin tips from his 997 (generation 1) which he will sell me at a reasonable price. I would like to purchase but before I do I'd like to know if anyone knows whether these are also the same size and will fit on a 991 Carrera. Assuming they are the same, but the part number is different from a generation 1 and 2 so just not sure.

Thanks Advantyper, I am for sure interested but it looks like you also have a 991, but an S. I dont believe the tips off an S will fit a 991 non S. I believe the exhaust is somehow different. If I am wrong and someone can confirm that the S tips will fit my 991 Carrera i would for sure like to discuss a purchase.

 

The 991S tips will not fit on a 991 as the exhaust set up is a little different. The 3.8 Carrera tips have a dual inlet and the 3.4 Carrera have a single centre inlet.

By the way, a 3.4 Carrera with PSE has the same exhaust setup with the dual inlets as a 3.8 Carrera.

Hey all, i have a 2013 911 3.4 non S with single exhaust tip.
If I understand correctly, a 997.1 dual tip will fit my muffler is that correct?
Does anyone know what the diameter measurement is to find other options?
