Full Leather -- Black interior

The 991s I have driven that have had full leather were not black.

I'm curious if the plush look of the 991 full leather is less appreciable or impressive in a black interior??

I noticed the standard interior also lacks the door aluminum trim. But curious if the full leather interior is less valuable in a black interior car.

Two of my friends have a full leather black interior (one of them with red deviated stitching that looks great) while I have the base 'plastic' interior. The full leather option is still worth it in black and adds a nice touch of luxury. Had I not bought my car of the lot, I would have had it. The standard interior was better on a couple of occasions, running the car on the track, under the rain with the windows rolled down... but that's not enough to prefer it over full leather

You know .. my preference would of been to get full leather. With that said - I'm sure in 18 months I'm going to get bored with my C4S and I'm glad I pocket the difference

We have full black leather in the Cayenne and it looks great, well worth it! As a matter of fact I am spoiled to have full leather in all my cars. You spend so much time in the ****pit that in my opinion these cars only deserve the best when it comes to interior treatment.

actually - I don't spend that much time in mine - to date I've owned 5 Porsche cars and all had less than 10k miles on them when I got rid of them. I do have a Cayenne Diesel on order with full leather .. I'm just saying .. in some instances it just does not make much sense ..

If your flipping every 18 months then yes I see your point. But my point was simply about the fact that we are inside the cabins driving all the time. Its nice to be flushed in leather if you can muster the 5k hit.

All the time I spend in the ****pit is spent looking out the window while driving, totally oblivious of whether it's partial or full leather :-)

The car I speced (and cancelled) had black full leather, red deviating stitching , and red seat belts . On a white car I thought it looked nice .

On a darker color car I happen to really like what this 6speed member selected with the pebble gray stitch . I also like the sport techno wheels on the dark color as well .

The difference between partial and full is less noticeable on a black interior than on other colors imo.

Also, I could swear my standard interior has alu trim on the doors !

I have the black full leather.
You are right that it is a bit understated, but that is what I like about it.
The other leather colors would definetly pop more, if you want more bang for your buck.

Something to consider before trying to lux up the interior is how many rattles the car has.
Burmester might give you more enjoyment than full leather.

It is very simple... When there's no full leather, I don't want the car. Doesn't matter what color it is.

For me, the interior is the most important part of the car. It's the place where you spend all your time driving, so it has to be in line with the rest of the car. On an expensive car like a 911, I expect that to be nothing less than full leather.

The aluminum trim is a separate option and can be had with or without full leather.

Nope... Aluminium trim (and every other trim) on the doors is only available with full leather. (From factory that is... They probably can be installed afterwards I guess)
