Road tripping w/911 blog
Thanks for posting. Really enjoying this thread.
Beautiful picture by the water. Was that taken with a wide angle lens?
Can you post a direct rear view picture showing what the aero kit spoiler looks like directly from behind? Thanks !

Thank you! It was taken with an 18mm lens. Here is a picture that is kind of from the back.
She is an excellent wife. Says she doesn't want to drive it, because it is my car. Loves it when I drive way to fast, as well.
PS The PDLS is worth every cent as well.
Thank you. I was reluctant on ordering them because they were yellow. So glad I did. I love the way they look. Plus they stop the car like magic. Came down from 137 mph on a wet road today, with no issues what so ever. Well, maybe a slightly nervous wife.
Update:
This is has been the trip of a lifetime so far. Car is just over a week old and has over 1600 miles on it. The drive through Arkansas was amazing. Kentucky has had some beautiful spots as well. It has been very wet the entire trip. The c4s has grip for days in the pouring rain. The adaptive cruise has been amazing during the few times I have been on a boring road, or trying to force myself to remain close to the speed limits. The Burmester sound system has been played surprisingly very little, as I love listening to the exhaust in Sport Plus mode. The times that I have had the Burmester sound system on, it has been amazing! The PDLS has made some very dark roads feel a lot safer in the curves. My wife is constantly telling me that people are checking the car out. Something that I rarely notice. To be honest I am surprised every time she mentions it. The 911 to me, seems to be a very underrated vehicle by the public. It is nice to hear though that my perception of that may be wrong. This car exceeds my every expectation, and my expectations were very high.
On the over all feel of the trip:
It has been fantastic. My wife lifts out of her seat to look over the sides of bridges to see the streams below. She cranks her head a full 180 degrees to check out the classic homes, or pretty horses. She is having the time of her life. For me, I love those things as well. Especially the getting to share them with her. All that, plus I am driving what to me is the ultimate driving machine. It is good to be me. I am very fortunate to be able to experience this. Sharing it here just ads to the fun for me. Life is good.

PS Tonight I am in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Tomorrow I may check out the Corvette museum. Then it is off to Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. From there I plan to head of to Deals Gap, and drive the Tail of the Dragon. Perhaps after that, Savannah, Georgia. I'll keep you posted.
JoeInDallas, thrilled to hear you' and your wife are thoroughly enjoying. Isn't it a nice feeling to finally give yourself a pat on the back for the hard work that enabled you to own this jewel (unless you won a lottery
)? I think about this all the time!
