Wow 911 is now close to 1/4mill, I think they are abridging the McLaren and Ferrari sectors, I wonder if the increased pricing will result in losing sales of the high end Porsches to other European manufacturers ?

 

Based on the 4 month wait on my TTS I doubt they are seeing a decline in sales. People that buy a $200K car have money. Real money not just "BMW money". If you leased you are looking at $2500+ a month. You better have some decent cash flow or cash to out right buy the car. Plus what other European cars are you referring to Ferrari, Lamborghini, Aston Martin. To get the power and performance of a TTS you would have to pay over $100+ if new. So although I agree it's a $200K + car with tax and registration, based on price and performance of a car that can do a 3 second 0-60 you will not find a better car made today. Of course you could buy a new Sting Ray for ~ $60K-75K depending on options and have a great car. But under no circumstances is it a Porsche Twin Turbo or TTS.

Alas, my wife said "uggh. It's white". I then explained that Porsche will paint a car in whatever color she would prefer. I do not believe that this gorgeous motor vehicle will be gracing my garage. And yes, it's even better up close than in photos.

 

The turbo non CL wheels are even harder.

 

I noticed that the rear reflectors are larger than a 991 S or base, that the dummy key has a slick aluminum trim and that the adaptive speed sensor is mounted in front of the third radiator

The carbon brake disks are as large as a pizza pie. They are huge.

Closer to that Red Rider BB gun in the toy store window. It seems to have an almost magical attraction. It took 20 miles on I95 at 80mph of Porsche 991 therapy for me to stop thinking about it, how it costs about what I will be spending over the next three years for law school tuition and associated expenses for my daughter (ok, yes I am bragging about my brilliant and beautiful little girl) and how I can talk her out of going to law school Maybe I should make her watch The Paper Chase, then again it didn't stop me

 

Of course, I'm supposed to tell you to just pull the trigger and buy it, but that's too f@#$ed up even for me to say (ah, and you know my threshold for saying f@#$ed up sh!@ is low). Heck I got a kid, too. Hahahahahaha!
