How do you remove rear valence?

I want to paint my rear black plastic valence (between the exhaust pipes) body color. I assume that removing this -or the bumper - would be best for the painter.

I searched but can't find a detailed description on removing these parts. Anyone? Thanks in advance.

BradB, please update us with your experience on diffuser removal. I am also considering getting mine painted to match the body. (Should have ticked that box, when I ordered the car).

It looks pretty straightforward, but I won't be getting into it before the next few weeks.

I almost ticked that box, too. But I had already ticked too many and I can get this painted aftermarket at a mere fraction of the cost of OEM.

It is very easy to remove the rear bumper. I replaced mine with a carbon one and followed the directions in that post above and had no problems. Just double check that you have all the bolts out. The post is pretty clear on where they all are.

This is a pic of the front without the spoiler

If the rear is similar it appears that it slides left and then snaps in on the top.
