Instrument dials in yellow

Has anyone ordered instrument dials in yellow? Seems kind of cool (for a beige interior)... Kind of a Ferrari kind of a thing to do. Just wondering how it looks in real life and if anyone's done this and loves it....How's it a night?
Distracting or nice?? -- day or night?

My racing yellow 991S also has the yellow dials. My interior is black, so can't comment on beige. But at night they just look dark gray/black - you can't tell they're yellow.

Nope these all light up the same, regardless of the color.

I'd do it with dark interiors (black, espresso), not sure how it would look with beige. Try on the computer with the 3d Configurator.

love the yellow dials, especially on a yellow car!!
not sure how it would look with a tan interior car.
the f-cars do look good with the yellow tach with tan, but the yellow is a darker shade in the f-car car, right? you'd be very unique to have yellow/tan in a p-car

You're quite right. It's actually the two tone beige/black combo that I had in mind and on the 3d configurator, it looks a lot better.

I found that my Luxor Beige gauge faces are almost impossible to read during the day. There seem to be two issues: the deeply hooded gauge surrounds and the black/dark numerals on the gauges. Sport Chrono reads fine with light through the windshield. I would not do beige gauge faces again.

As others have said, the backlighting makes them fine to read at night.

I'm very glad that I optioned the dials in yellow. The yellow stitching wasn't available and I wanted something, in addition to the standard aluminum trim, to break up the monotony. I'm not sure about the yellow against the beige interior. It works in the Ferrari because of the shade of beige.

I like the yellow. I just wish you could order different colored needles. Black needles on a yellow face could be cool.
