PSE sound like a Rattle Can?

Is it normal to hear a high pitched rattle from PSE at upper RPM around 6K, while on throttle and revving towards red line (not when letting off)?
To me, it sounds like a loose internal baffle or heat shield vibration.

Any one else get that metal buzz or do you just get the pure boxer engine notes?

not sure about high pitched? mine sounds more like burps and gurgles or dragging tin cans when you let off the gas. does it sound the same with PSE off?

When letting off the gas, things seem to sound as they should.
My concern is accelerating, on throttle with revs climbing past 6K.
It gives a wierd rattling sound, which I wonder if is normal or not.

Its most apparent in street driving with PSE off.
Its not a plesant sound, which is why I suspect it may not be normal.
Is rattle and buzz, from the exhaust just part of the Porsche experience?

Sounds like something is wrong. I'd have it checked out.

I agree about having the car checked. Something just doesn't sound right (please excuse the pun).

Usually this means the tension on the exhaust valve isn't correct. They need to tighten a bolt. it will take 10 minutes to fix. Common issue with Eisenmann made exhausts like the PSE.

It will be nice to finally experience what all the hype is about on the PSE.
