20k off these 2013's seems pretty good for someone looking for a leftover. John Hamilton is the PCA Dallas president and good guy.

Just make sure they're not demo cars.

Wow. That really makes me fear for the resale value of my $127K MSRP 2012 C2S...

The Porsche initiated can fill me in on this, has the 991 generation depreciated much more quickly than the 997 and previous generation 911s?

I doubt demos. This is common. The dealership has 2 2013 cars left that are probably a year old already. $20k off isn't out of line. I got $15k off March 2010 on a 2010 car.

Just buy used next time and let someone else take the big hit...only way to buy these vehicles, IMHO.

After buying my last two Porsches new, I tend to agree. I'm looking to buy my next one used. The depreciation hit is just too depressing. I have no problem driving around in a car that someone else used for the first 24 months.

The depreciation is actually not that bad on the car, the options however, yikes. Options are basically the first owners full expense.
