If one forgets to charge their cell phone, perhaps it could translate to the car. But an EV is a very apparent paradigm shift. Plugging in will become a habit, the garage will be set-up to accommodate this daily/nightly function.

AND, because of the connectivity, No-Plug-in alarms or reminders can be set-up, etc.

As a second car sure. But I'm wondering if the Cruze or even Volt will be stiff competition.
