991 (Gt3) Suspension Overview

I've posted a 991 GT3 suspension overview in the GT3 section. This might be of interest to some of you guys. Check it out.

We'll also have one for regular 991 soon. So stay tuned.

Awesome info!!!!

I'm waiting to see what parts we can swap over to non GT3 cars, mostly front suspension parts since the GT3 now has rear steering.

Absolutely stunning car, and excellent write-up! Thank you!

But Hmmm.... Just curious, did you forego the engine swap?
I would be wary of doing anything with one of these GT3 cars until the replacement work is done. Or, did I miss something?

Great work guys!

- we are anxiously awaiting the engine swap date, and thought this would be a good way to fill the time.

Any idea if some of the GT3s suspension parts can be used on non GT3 cars?

Unfortunately not too many. Most of the control arms are not interchangeable between the two cars. The bushings could be swapped out in places, however they're not available for individual purchase. As a whole arm/link only.

Things like a swaybar could potentially be used on non-GT3 car, however we'll have to take some more measurement to verify.

We do offer a full set of spherical bushings and control arms for the 991 cars that will match or outperform the parts found on the GT3

Excellent overview. I especially enjoyed reading the "why" of some features, like the sway bar connections.
