Campaign WE02 - instrument cluster software upgrade

Just had my first annual done today. The service advisor stated this was the only campaign needed on my car but he couldn't give me any explanation of what it really did. He did say that it would take about 40 minutes to do.
Does anyone know?

I had the same, my service advisor said you probably won't even notice a change but couldn't explain what it does.

Apparently it stops premature service notifications.

Pretty sad that the service advisor couldn't make an effort to find out what the update addressed. Would much rather hear "I'm not sure, but I'll do my best to find out and get back to you."

I had it done a few months ago already. The car kept saying it was due for service. I had the alert reset 3 times by the dealership but it always came back. The dealership told me Porsche was working on it and after a few weeks call me to tell me that a software patch was ready. No issues since then.

Makes sense….I have a 2012 and was getting a 10,370 miles until next service. Just got it back from the dealer this afternoon. I will look to see if it eliminated this.

I just had WE02 completed, but I noticed all the service intervals have been reset to today, as if the car has 0 miles on it. Has this happened to anyone else?

Sounds weird, but can you post a pic to clarify?
Is it saying you have service due today?
or
That 1st service is 10K miles from today?
If this, then perhaps they forgot to restore your odometer
Could be to your advantage on resale..

Odometer is correct at 6000 miles. Service intervals state:
08/2015 10,000
08/2016 20,000
08/2018 40,000

First service was completed earlier this year, it just reset the future intervals as if just delivered from the factory today. The service advisor mentioned I have to go by when I last had service and not the computer now. I wonder if they messed something up during the update.

I thought the service intervals went by build date.
Perhaps they overrode your build date

I have to check if my car stayed true to build date.... but it is at the dealer until tomorrow.
I would have noticed if my intervals changed to April (when WE02 was done).
