Of all the tires that traverse the road how did mine find it? 779 miles on the brand new PSS I'm smiling as it's only an in an inconvenience. Tire and wheel insurance claim.

That is a weird location / angle for something like that to penetrate deep enough into the belt... did it go all the way through and out the sidewall? Looks like a heavy-duty clothes hanger or something! Good thing it wasn't much longer as it could have whipped-around and damaged other parts, maybe even the body! Yikes!

Hope all turns out well!

I was about 100 yards from my mechanic's shop. I heard something whipping around then quiet. I saw the dash pressure sensor showing -13 when I pulled the car to the lift. We lifted the car and found it. We looked and there was no damage to any structure, hose wire or heaven forbid....the body. It was quite fortuitous that it happened at a full service shop

my wrench said it was amazing that this wire passed up the $40 tires that travel that road all day long and found my $400 tire. I really don't like insurance companies but I suppose I am getting the best of this one: One classic 20" wheel One PSS tire. One key.

Sorry about your tire RNL, I just picked up a piece of bone (go figure) in one of my truck tires last week.
Right in the sidewall, lucky I patched it and had a compressor, it lost pressure fast.
Then I drove 3 miles to buy a replacement--just glad it wasn't one of my P-Zeros!
