I think it's possible.
I knew I was going to change the exhaust so I did not order the PSE.

Controlling the valves is a must though either way.

Yes I have the Akra Exhaust and retained use of the PSE buttons. Don't need (and thus don't have) the wireless kit.

I have an Akrapovic on my m3 and it's a fantastic exhaust. Such gorgeous construction - I nearly threw a few of the parts into the air because they were so lightweight, etc.
