IMO this new factory option for all wide body models really suits the car specially with the SD or Aerokit package.
If anyone debating with the idea, heres mine.

looks good , enhances width of the 991 " 4 " s
but would be a waste of money on black, agate and probably dark blue

Thanks guys for your comments. I painted the skirts after delivery and couldnt be happier with the results, hope this helps other people to decide.

I have to admit that at first I was not sure of the loud color and big rear wing, but now I am enjoying all the attention it gets . Very difficult to keep this under the radar

 

The color is gorgeous, especially with the darker wheels. Looks great.

 

Did you have them removed in order to paint them? Was there an option to have them factory painted? Obviously these can be ordered afterwards for those who don't have them.

So this is only an option on the wide body only? Wonder why?

Yeah that color is gorgeous. Every time I see it I stop land stare. I also think the black wheels and aero kit give it that extra pop.

They were very easy to remove, just a few tabs on the underside.
There is an option now to have them painted (XAJ) but only on wide body models (C4/GT3/Turbo) they have a different bigger plastic side skirt.


The side skirts are cheap.
