918 Spyder vs Koenigsegg
Wiki says 0-62 =2.6 vs 2.6 also for the 918. I don't remember the ring time for the Koenigsegg Agera.

yes exactly - I was wondering the same.. what's Nurburgring ring time for Agera R?
The current crop of supercars are a little pointless IMO with speed totally unusable on the street but they aren't race cars. If you really like driving and going fast, for the price of a 918, you can buy and race a GT3 Cup Car or RS and have enough left over to buy a flashy street car.
Is it just me or did it seem odd that the video focused on a mutated drag race even though they were on a closed track begging for a couple laps. The other issue was why are they trying to game the gear shifts just punch up the right combo of buttons and stand on it and let the chips fall where they may.
I think this is the VW Testing Range Near Wolfsburg.
Additional information I Googled:
This is Volkswagon's highly secured test track. It has a restricted area no fly zone. About 22km long ( 17 miles ) and the longest stretch is about 9km ( 5½ miles ). This is also the track where Top Gear has tested the Bugatti Veyron at 407km/h ( 250mph ).

Koenigsegg does fly, although at twice the price of the 918 it should. Not sure that they are certified for sale in the US. It is definitely higher on the insanity scale than the 918 and is a very desirable machine for collectors. Wonder if Jay Leno has a Koenigsegg in his garage?
