991 C4S Front Radiator Grills

I hv checked the threads and even Renns. Seems that there is no aftermarket grill available for the 991 C4S w/ front parking sensors at the moment.

Is the DIY route the only solution currently? Grateful for some insights or pointers where I can get a grill to protect the radiators.

Many thanks!

I have a C2S, Sport Design front with sensors and I think they came from Rennline.

Check Zunnsport. UK guys with a great product. I had them on my 981 BS. Didn't have a fitment for my C2s w/sensors. I thought Rennline had C4s w/sensor fitments.

Renn has the C4S ones but it appears that they are for the spor design front - I may be wrong. I guess it is best to email Renn and Zunn to check further.

Many thanks

I got mine from Rennline. Email them to get the proper part numbers. I have the parking sensors and a 2S. Shouldn't be different too at all from the 4S

You're correct Op. Their website conveniently misses this info. I'm interested / curious to find out too - keep us posted thanks!

Could you post some pictures of your grills? I am interested in seeing if they are in front of the slats on the side intake openings or behind them. I have a C4S with the powerkit without parking sensors and am interested in these also.

Thanks,

Thanks for the link. DIY may be the best route, but I am unfortunately "challenged" in that area so am looking for a set which can be purchased.

Renn just reverted via email that their 991 C4S grills (for non-sport design & parking sensors) are a month or 2 off. Zunsport does have a set though.

You can do it. Best to remove the front bumper cover to do it right, especially if you have the 3rd radiator. Plenum has some great DIY's here on 6speed with pics on how to do so. T

Also installed mesh on front inner wheel well liners. Read over on RL that a 991'r was experiencing overheating problems caused by trapped gravel finding it's way into the fans from behind and binding them up. THIS IS NOT COVERED BY YOUR WARRANTY !! and could cost you a very expensive replacement engine. JB welded some black aluminum mesh screening to take care of that. More info on the G.G. thread title RL post 84+ Sorry I inserted pics above in reverse order must learn to put them in the other way next time. T

moje, Please click onto following link starting with post 54: www.rennlist.com/forums/991/842093-g-g-3.html. Also, read through the DIY sticky on top of home page for links, etc. for this application. If there is still something you need to know, please do not hesitate to ask. T
