2013 Carrera S

I just found a nice used 2013 Carrera S ...they want 2.99 financing to buy it over 60 months. Is that a good rate and the old owner smoked cigars in it and it still has a faint scent. Can we get rid of the scent? Thanks in advance!

First car? Or why the question on the rate? Not the best but not bad at all

It has been my experience that any car smoked in can have the scent covered up temporarily, but always seems to come back in the end. For me it would take a VERY hefty discount for me to consider it.

2.99% is a decent rate, but depends on your credit. My local credit union offers 1.75% for people with amazing credit...most others get 2.75%. So 2.99 is pretty good.

Good point, patience is not my strong suit. Got emotional with this car because of some of the nice options. Probably need to take my time and find the right car. It is Black and has a few scratches on the hood which I don't understand so guessing the guy did not take great care of the car..however Carfax is perfect

1) I have no idea if 2.99 is a good rate, but I wouldn't be buying a toy with a loan, much less a 5 year loan.

2) I would never buy a car that smelled like smoke, much less cigar smoke, which is putrid and permanent.

"the old owner smoked cigars in it" LOL bad stereotype 911 owner at that.

Don't trust the carfax. Many minor accidents can be off the record. Just depends who you know. Look for another car. Good luck.
